ABOUT

ABOUT DIVE LAB

Initially launched as North Bay Diving, Dive Lab rebranded to coincide with a move to a new training facility in 2022, and the new name reflects the club’s innovative and inclusive atmosphere. A not-for-profit organization and the first club team in the North Bay, Dive Lab expands access to springboard diving in the Bay Area with a collaborative, supportive, and fun environment for new and experienced divers.

At Dive Lab, we understand there’s more to sports than competition. By inspiring a love of the sport, removing boundaries to access, and implementing a holistic training approach, Dive Lab helps build well-rounded athletes and young adults. Our training model provides social and emotional skills, and exposure to multiple training modalities like pilates, yoga, strength training, breath work, meditation, visualization, sports psychology and more. When not on deck, we help connect athletes with resources and support, such as tutoring, college counseling, and sports psychologists.

MISSION

As the North Bay’s first club team, Dive Lab expands access to springboard diving in the Bay Area with a collaborative, supportive, inclusive, and fun environment for new and experienced divers.

VISION

Dive Lab’s holistic, technical approach to diving helps promote greater well-being in the community, with inclusive programming to advance equity and opportunity within the sport.
